About Us

OUR STORY

Matthew Vertucci graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Virginia. Matthew’s career started by working for a mechanical construction company. Allowing for a more practical design approach, based upon field experiences. He has been a business owner and operator of Vertech Engineering Associates for 17 years and in 2018 formed a partnership with Christopher Kunes, who has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, to create Engineering Design Services. Engineering Design Services provides consulting and design services in Central Pennsylvania and beyond, with an office located at 2695 Carolean Industrial Drive, State College. It is this partnership and practical knowledge of construction practices that sets Engineering Design Services apart from other engineering companies.
